- Can I benefit from POMCube’s iCAN® NetZero+ without solar panels?
Certainly! POMCube's iCAN® NetZero+ solar battery can be used independently of solar panels. For grid-connected clients, our solar battery stores energy from your electricity provider, offering backup power for up to 24 hours during outages. Our smart iCAN® NetZero+ solar battery charges during off-peak hours when electricity rates are lower and discharges during peak periods to help you save on your electricity bills.
If we have a generator, how is automated switching handled? Is this something you can provide?The generator is able to connect the inverter directly, but please make sure the rated power of the generator is greater than the average load power.
How does the warranty work?We offer 10 years warranty, the software system will able to track and monitor the performance & status. If the issue is not done by human error, we will send the parts and the installer will do the replacement.
If the household ends up using electric cars will there be enough capacity in the system?For example, in the daytime, the NZ+ inverter needs 6.6 KW to charge a 20kwh battery, and 5.9kw left for the load. It’s sufficient for the 3.5kw EV charger.
How many deep cycles will the batteries take?5000-6000 times.

How does POMCube’s iCAN® NetZero+ provide power outage protection?POMCube's iCAN® NetZero+ solar battery system is designed to ensure uninterrupted power during grid outages. When paired with solar panels, our solar battery system offers unlimited energy delivery. Solar panels power your home during the day while charging the battery, and at night, the iCAN® NetZero+ solar battery system powers your home. When used without solar panels, the backup power duration depends on the battery size and your energy consumption. We recommend energy storage system that provide at least 12 hours of backup power for maximum reliability.
How well does POMCube’s iCAN® NetZero+ integrate with my solar system?Definitely! POMCube’s iCAN® NetZero+ solar battery is designed to work seamlessly with your solar systems. For grid-connected systems, the iCAN® NetZero+ energy storage system ensures uninterrupted operation during utility service disruptions. If you live off-grid, our solar energy solution allows you to harness and utilize solar energy day and night.

- How is the energy capacity & power for system?
iCAN® NetZero+ is of 20kWh energy capacity & 12.5kw power output. It supports parallel installation to achieve high performance.
If we do need more capacity in the future, How do we expand the system?It is still easy to install another, just parallel with the previous system, then contact service@pomcube, and we will arrange for the support engineers to help update the system.

- How can I register my iCAN NetZero Plus for warranty coverage?
To register your iCAN NetZero Plus for warranty coverage, fill in the Warranty Register Form and send it back to POMCube at service@pomcube.com.
What are the limitations of POMCube’s liability under the warranty?POMCube's exclusive liability for breach of warranty is to repair or replace the iCAN NetZero Plus or repay the pro-rated portion of the actual purchase price paid for the defective product within the warranty period. POMCube will not be liable for any loss, claim, or damages of any other kind, whether direct, incidental, consequential, exemplary, special, punitive, remote, or otherwise.
How does operating temperature affect the warranty period?The warranty period will be reduced by 50% for every 18°F (10°C) of operating temperatures over 95°F (35°C).
Does the limited warranty cover normal wear and tear or superficial defects?The limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, deterioration, or superficial defects, dents, or marks that do not impact the performance of the iCAN NetZero Plus.
What are some examples of warranty exclusions?Warranty exclusions include abuse, misuse, negligence, accidents, force majeure events, improper storage, installation, modification or repair, failure to operate or maintain the product according to the User Manual, unauthorized modifications, removal and reinstallation at a different location, presence of third-party products, and usage exceeding 90% Depth of Discharge (DoD) or more than one cycle per day.
What remedies does POMCube offer in case of a warranty claim?If the iCAN NetZero Plus fails to comply with the limited warranty, POMCube will, at its sole discretion, either repair it (using new or refurbished parts), replace it with an equivalent product (new or refurbished), or refund the market price of an equivalent product at the time of the warranty claim.
What is the default warranty period for iCAN NetZero Plus?The default warranty period for iCAN NetZero Plus is ten (10) years from the initial installation date.

- What steps are required to be set for parallel on the app?
Enable parallel control—>Control Mode—>Communication Mode—>Communication Address—>Quantity
What is the maximum length of the communication cable when paralleling?50ft (15m)
Is it required the same cable lengths from each device to the utility and to the load when parallelingYES
Should I turn off all the switches before paralleling?YES, all the switches should be in the OFF state before paralleling.
How to connect the L1 from each uPCS?Each L1 must be connected to L1 from all the remaining uPCS and vice versa.
Is that all the network ports from each uPCS must be connected to the local router?YES
What is the maximum number of devices that can be connected in parallel?4

- Why using Network Connector?
This connector is optional and is only used when a network cable is required to connect the network, so that customers can connect the network cable from the outside of the device directly without having to open the wiring box.
Application Notes - AC Coupled 1.01
- What is the rated frequency of NetZero+ under AC coupling?
The normal frequency is 60 Hz so that grid tied inverter can keep production. NetZero+ will maintain the frequency above 62.5 Hz until the battery SOC falls below 90%. It may keep the frequency higher to prevent grid tied inverter(s) from producing energy at full capacity.
What are the advantages of connecting PV panels directly to an iCAN NetZero Plus in AC coupling mode?Directly connected PV panels can wake up the battery even after it is completely depleted the night before.

Can iCAN NetZero Plus supports grid-tied inverter?YES, also the grid tied inverter can continue producing energy when grid service is disrupted.

- How can I use the Meter-Zero mode after the installation?
Choose "Meter-Zero" in the Customized Control on the APP.
Should I cut off all the power before installation?YES
Where should I mount the Meters?Please mount the Meter solidly in the Main Panel or in a separate electrical box.
Generator auto start stop wiring instruction-V7
- How many types of generator are supported?
Three.
- Type 0: Generator auto start-stop controlled via a MAIN START SW. Auto start-stop circuit diagram shown as follows can be found in the manual of the generator such as HondaEU7000iS.
- Type 1: Generator auto start-stop controlled via an external dry contact: connect the dry contact to start the generator and disconnect the dry contact to stop it. For most of this type of generators, connect auto start-stop port to NO1/COM1of EMU
- Type 2: Generator auto start-stop controlled via a STARTSWITCH and TOPSWITCH. Auto start-stop circuit diagram shown as follows can be found in the manual of the generator such as Honda EM7000iS, EU6500iS, EM6500SXK1/K2, EM5000SXK2/K3, EM5000iS, EM4000SX and EM3800SX.
How can I set the generator type?You can set the generator type through the "Generator Port Control" in iCAN NetZero App.
